No Matcha Latte in London?

No Matcha Latte in London?

I sometimes hear people say that they could not find matcha latte in London, which triggered my matcha latte hunt in the city and I actually found a LOT of places! More and more cafes and restaurants are starting to have this drink now, so no more excuses. I will prepare a list of matcha latte places (London edition) in the near future.

For those wondering what it tastes like with soy milk, well it tastes just as good!

On a more personal note…

The cafe is nicely situated at the corner of Old Street and Kingland Road. Through its large window, I can often see people working on their laptops whenever I pass by. Then, I said to myself “why not study there one day?” So that’s what I did. I sat at a table by the window, exactly where I took the picture above, and started working. After a while, I looked out and saw a random person with a camera focusing on me.

I didn’t know what to do, should I look into his lens? Should I not look? Should I smile? I eventually told myself “just act natural, ignore him and just act natural”. He took a couple of pictures and left. The people sitting at other tables, who saw what happened, looked at me and we started laughing. I think it would have been creepier if the person was taking pictures with his phone camera instead of a legit camera.
