Oslo Kaffebar, moving Oslo to Berlin
Knowing how often I visit coffeeshops in Paris and London, I was very much looking forward to exploring one in Berlin!
So, Oslo Kaffebar it is!
This Scandinavian style coffeeshop mixes Norwegian light-colored wood furnitures with the industrial interiors of Berlin. So that it gives a cool and chill touch to the cafe.
Located in Mitte, this place is particularly well-known for being one of the first coffeeshops serving coffee in items made of coffee grounds! The cups are surprisingly light, durable and have a delicate smell of coffee. Since I have a strong interest in social sustainability, it is always a pleasure to find venues with similar values.
Besides this, they offer full-grain sandwiches, a selection of pastries, cakes and cookies along with delicious coffee. The environment also is extremely welcoming and working friendly. They have multiple plugs and very powerful wifi (2 routers!!). Thus, the perfect Sunday office!
“High-5” Berlin!
This is probably my fifth time in Berlin in 3 years. In fact, I would have never imagined traveling to Germany that frequently. However, thanks to a geopolitical program I participated in 2014, which headquarter is in Berlin, I got to interact, create strong ties and build projects with amazingly talented and inspiring people.
I always come back from those weekends, feeling recharged, fresh and, most importantly, ready to take up the next challenge! As a result, it’s sometimes necessary to unplug everything, explore with others and find inspirations else where.
