Sweet Toothers at Brasserie Réjane

Sweet Toothers at Brasserie Réjane

My friends, Rémi and Alix, and I caught up at the trendy Brasserie Réjane. The interior was neat and modern, which gave it a formal and classy touch.

Although we promised we would go on diet after the holidays, having a sweet tooth didn’t help at all. Therefore, in order to feel less guilty we shared a Bûche de Noël (yule log), along with red wine, detox juice and soya latte.

The Bûche was created by Yann Brys – the winner of the prestigious award “Meilleur Ouvrier de France”. Made of crunchy hazelnuts, milk chocolate and pure Jamaican dark chocolate mousse, the pastry was a marvelous discovery! Additionally, I guess that it tasted even better as the best discoveries are the ones shared.

Friendship management

New year is the time when we take time to catch up with new friends, old friends, close friends as well as acquaintances. It’s the best occasion of the year to start a conversation without sounding awkward. How many times have I heard people saying “I haven’t got news from XYZ for ages, but it’s weird messaging them now”, well… here is the opportunity!
