Let Natives Paris bring us back to our roots!

Let Natives Paris bring us back to our roots!

Although I just came back from my short trip to London, I didn’t get the chance to stop by Tombo Poke and satisfy my craving for Poke Bowls! Luckily, we have our Hawaiian spot in town too, Natives Paris, which serves amazingly fresh, healthy and tasty food. They use local, seasonal, raw and plant-based ingredients to bring us back to our most natural lifestyle.

My friend got their Aloha Poke bowl (tuna, avocado, mango, daikon, Hawaiian sauce and rice) and I got their Venice Beach Poke bowl (salmon, katana sauce, avocado, pineapple, cucumber and rice). They were delicious! Sometimes we really don’t need much to stay healthy… Genius!

Speaking about roots and what’s essential…

Yesterday was my birthday and many friends asked me how I spent my day. I am proud to share that I spent my day with bloggers, freelancers and entrepreneurs brainstorming on each other’s projects. Yes, you read it right, I chose to work on my birthday. Simply because I love what I am doing. I am glad to say that I (finally) found something that I would want to do everyday. You know when people say ‘find a job that you like and you’ll never work again’, and that’s so true. I wish each and everyone of you to find this dream job, pursue it and enjoy it so much that everyday is a holiday!

Obviously, we have bills to pay and I am not saying that we should do this for the rest of our lives. But just be aware of what it is is good enough. Thinking of what we would want to do on our birthday may help shed some light and guide us towards what we should be doing more often, when life gets confusing.

(By the way, I am taking the next 364 days to celebrate my birthday!)
